What will you be doing?
We have two roles that we are seeking trainees for, both of which are amazing opportunities to take on an intensive, full-time, 12-month training programme.

One of our positions will expose you to aspects of one of Europe’s largest real assets investment managers in the Private Markets division. This team works within the full depth and breadth of real asset markets across real estate, infrastructure, private debt and multi-assets with ESG considerations influencing aspects of the investment cycle and being fully integrated into our investment process.

The second role will place you at the heart of our sustainable investing strategy. You will be involved in how our business makes decisions around the development of our sustainable investing commercial strategy, as well as maintenance of robust oversight mechanisms to support our Boards and other accountable bodies to oversee the business.

As well as developing priceless industry knowledge, in either role, you’ll build relationships that will help you to progress your career and to secure a permanent job – either with us or with another industry firm.

You don’t need an in-depth understanding of the finance and investment management industries either, as long as you have curiosity to learn.

Who we look for
You might assume that you’re not the kind of person who could succeed in the world of financial services. But you’d be surprised. Our people come from a wide range of backgrounds, bringing their own diversity of ideas and unique perspectives to our business. You don’t need to have studied a specific subject to apply to our programme.

We want people who can show:

  • Analytical mindset: you can gather, monitor and analyse data and figures
  • Curiosity: you have an insatiable hunger to learn, discover and question the world around you
  • Care: you take pride in what you do and want to contribute to something bigger than yourself Innovation: you think differently and create unique solutions
  • Initiative: you’re a self-starter who can solve problems
  • Collaboration: you communicate well and share ideas with colleagues
  • Communication: you can convey messages clearly and with integrity

What will you get?
Over your 12 months with us, you’ll be given training, earn professional qualifications, benefit from mentorship, and get an idea of how all parts of the business work. We run this programme in the same environment as the graduate programme, and you can expect the same networking opportunities with senior executives, and the same level of industry wide exposure across all areas of the business.

As well as real-world work, you’ll enjoy learning and development opportunities offered both by us and through the centrally organised Investment 20/20 programme. As part of this programme, we’ll support you in obtaining the CFA Investment Management Certificate (IMC) qualification.

A place on this programme will see you joining us as a trainee as part of the Investment 20/20 programme. As part of this, you will have valuable opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
