Job Description
Location: Leeds and Norwich
Hours: Full time, permanent with two-year development programme
Work type: Hybrid
Salary: £33,200
The opportunityAt Aviva, we protect what matters - homes, cars, businesses, and more. But every insurance policy starts with a decision: should we insure this risk, and at what price? That’s where you come in.
In Pricing, you’ll dive into data, build models, and use market insight to calculate fair, competitive premiums. It’s a role for detail-driven thinkers who love solving complex problems and making data-led decisions.
From day one, you’ll be learning, growing, and making a real impact. You’ll train alongside expert underwriters and pricing professionals, gaining hands-on experience and insight into how we assess risk and set prices. You’ll explore fascinating topics like climate change, global trade, and customer behaviour - understanding how these shape insurance decisions.
You’ll also get to grips with the financial mechanics behind insurance, supported every step of the way with coaching, data tools, and guidance from senior leaders. You may rotate across teams, helping you build a broad foundation and discover where your strengths lie.
We’ll support your professional development too, offering relevant qualifications backed by our full support.
Plus, you’ll take part in our central development programme in years one and two - giving you the confidence, skills, and experience to thrive now and in the future.
Whatever your role and whatever your background, you’ll get the training you need to shine bright as well as opportunities to develop long-term in your career. We’re continuously moving forward as a business, and we’ll make sure you do too.
And if you need support with your online application or you need to apply another way, we’ve got you covered there, too. Just reach out to
avivaearlycareers@aviva.com.

I’m excited to keep evolving in my role, gaining new skills, and exploring future opportunities within this dynamic company.” - Current Graduate The rolesThese Pricing roles on offer are based in either Leeds or Norwich: both buzzing places in which to launch your career. We champion hybrid working at Aviva (typically three days in the office and two days from home), so you’ll need to live within commuting distance of the office where your chosen role is based. You’ll get the benefit of spending time with colleagues in real life as well as gaining more work-life balance. Not all role types are available in every location, so when you apply let us know which roles and which locations you prefer.
Pricing (Leeds, Norwich): Pricing is where data meets decision-making. You’ll analyse customer risk, market trends, and product performance to help set fair, competitive premiums. Whether you’re supporting new business, renewals, or rate reviews, your work will shape how we grow sustainably and serve customers well. You’ll collaborate with underwriters, analysts, and finance teams, building models and tools that drive smarter pricing strategies. If you’re curious, detail-driven, and comfortable working with data, you’ll thrive here.
